West Bengal’s CM Mamta Banerjee’s preparation for Lok Sabha Elections 2019– Primary Focus on Federal Front

Mamta Banerjee is totally engaged in the preparation for Lok Sabha Elections; her eyes are on the nearly 200 seats of UP, Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Where on the one hand, in the North East states including Tripura, after BJP’s victory, Narendra Modi has played a belligerent for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, at the same time, the Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamta Banerjee, has made the effort to challenge Modi and prevent his victory chariot. Mamta Banerjee is working towards a third front before the Lok Sabha elections. This front has been named as ‘Federal Front’.

A glimpse of Mamta’s attempt was seen in the Parliament on Thursday when her trustee and TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee stood with TDP MPs protesting against the central government in Parliament. Kalyan Banerjee stands with TDP to give special status to Andhra Pradesh and support the demand for package to the state.

TDP President Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday announced the dissolution of the Union government and said that the Modi government has deceived people of Andhra Pradesh. Two ministers of TDP, Gajapati Raju and YS Chaudhary resigned to the Prime Minister. Recognizing the occasion Mamata Banerjee is now coordinating with TDP.Earlier, Mamata Banerjee had spoken to Chandrasekhar Rao of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi and had considered the possibilities of the ‘Federal Front’. Mamta Banerjee has spoken to DMK’s MK Stalin and asked to create a strategy of “Let’s go to Delhi.” Both Stalin and Rao have confirmed the matter with Banerjee. The fall of the Left and the plight of the Samajwadi Party and the BSP condition, now everyone’s eyes are on TMC.

Prior to the Lok Sabha elections, all constituents of NDA will pressurize the BJP and would like to negotiate with it. On one hand TDP has come out of the government, and then in Maharashtra Shiv Sena and Punjab are talking about contesting separate Akali elections. Nitish Kumar is now repeating the economic package for Bihar again.

The opposition parties, on the other hand, are indicating a renewed coalition. If the BSP is helping the Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh by-election, then the Samajwadi is helping in bringing the BSP candidate in the Rajya Sabha elections. Mamta’s efforts are important in this context because she is in touch with all parties. Mamta also called Akhilesh Yadav for the Jaya Bachchan election in the Rajya Sabha seat and had offered Jaya to contest the elections from Bengal.Mamta Banerjee’s mathematics is clear that there are about two hundred seats in the states of UP, Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Telangana and there are a total of two hundred seats, and there can be a big chance of winning the opposition (regional parties).
